Stucco in Scottsdale & Paradise Valley, AZ
Stucco is the skin of an Arizona home, and it takes a beating, thermal cracking from 40-degree day-to-night swings, hairline cracks that open at windows and corners, and monsoon-driven moisture that gets behind a failing patch. Done right, stucco repair is matched in texture and sealed so water stays out; done wrong, it telegraphs through the paint and cracks again. We carry a dedicated stucco license (AZ ROC #359593) precisely because we treat it as its own trade.

Our process
- 01
Inspect & diagnose
We identify whether a crack is cosmetic or a sign of moisture intrusion, and scope the repair accordingly, not just skim over it.
- 02
Repair & build coats
Clean out failing material and rebuild with the proper scratch/brown/finish coats for the repair, so it bonds and lasts.
- 03
Match the texture
We match lace, sand, dash or smooth finishes to the surrounding wall so the repair is not obvious from the curb.
- 04
Seal & paint
Coordinate with the paint crew to seal the repair against monsoon moisture. Workmanship is backed by our 2-year warranty.
Products: We use stucco materials and finish coats appropriate to each repair and to Arizona conditions. [Confirm any specific product preferences with Luis before publishing as a claim.]

Stucco FAQ
Why does stucco crack in Arizona?
Mostly thermal movement, big day-to-night temperature swings expand and contract the wall, plus normal settlement around windows and corners. Hairline cracks are common; the issue is sealing them before monsoon moisture gets behind the surface.
Can you match my stucco texture?
Yes. Lace, sand, dash and smooth finishes can be matched and feathered into the existing wall so the repair blends in rather than standing out.
Should I repair stucco before repainting?
Yes, always seal and repair stucco first. Painting over open cracks just hides the problem until it telegraphs back through. Because we do both, we sequence it correctly in one project.
Are you licensed for stucco specifically?
Yes. We hold a dedicated AZ stucco license, ROC #359593, in addition to our drywall & paint license, ROC #355811.
